Who we are
The use of information collected through our Service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the Service for which the Client has engaged Shorke.
In certain situations, Shorke may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Emails and Web Forms
If you register for a Shorke event, we request certain personal information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and company information) and, for chargeable events, financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes for event registration or to contact you if we have difficulty processing your order.
Our client contracts include client permission to post testimonials, both written and video, on our website. Permission to display client reference information (name, company, phone number) is obtained from our clients prior to displaying them on our site. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our website offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, contact us at email@example.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Occasionally we may provide you the opportunity to participate in surveys on our site. If you participate we will request certain personal information from you. Participation in these surveys is entirely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to improve our Shorke services and product offerings.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Information Collected And Stored Automatically
If you do nothing during your visit but browse through our website, read pages, or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically using cookies and log files. We use this information to help make our site more useful to visitors, to learn about the number of visitors to our site, and the types of technology they use.
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyse trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site, and to gather demographic information about our user base. We do not link this automatically collected data to personal information.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We partner with third parties to either display advertising on our website or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third party partners may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities on this site and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out here, or if located in the European Union, here. Please note this does not opt you out of being served ads. You will continue to receive generic ads.
In addition, if you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
We use other third parties such as a credit card processor to bill you for goods and services. For instance, when you register for an event we will share your credit card information with our payment processor as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personal information for promotional purposes.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We will also communicate with you in response to your enquiries, to provide the services you request or in which you express interest, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.
Opt-out of Special Offers and Updates
We will occasionally send you information on products, services, and promotions. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications. If you no longer wish to receive our promotional email communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each newsletter, by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling us at +44 (0) 800 774 7306.

We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.
Shorke has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Shorke’ Client (the data controller). If requested to remove data we will respond within a reasonable time frame.
Links To Other Sites
Our policy discloses the privacy practices for the Shorke website. However, we do provide links to other websites. When you leave www.shorke.com you will go to sites outside of our control. These external sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any site you link to from ours, especially if you share any personal information. Be informed. You are the person best qualified to protect your own privacy.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at email@example.com. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information, as well as personal information we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client, as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received. If you have any questions about the security of your personal information, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
